Catnic Extra Heavy Duty Thermally Broken (Part L Compliant) 100mm Cavity Lintel TX90/100
Catnic's Thermally Broken Lintel (TBL) is the only lintel that guarantees linear thermal transmittance with a psi value of 0.05 W/mK or less. It boasts safe working loads similar to existing cavity wall lintels, and is made from powder-coated galvanized steel.
TBLs meet Part L regulations in a cost-effective, sustainable way, with psi values ranging from 0.02 to 0.05 W/mK. A separate DPC is needed, but the lintel is designed to allow for easy installation for a thermally efficient junction.
The product is powder coated, available in various cavity sizes in addition to the 100mm TX90/100, and structurally comparable to existing lintels.
No propping is required, and the lintel is fire-retardant and CE-marked.
Handling and storage is identical to existing Catnic lintels.
